Oliver is a chartered architect with broad technical knowledge in the design and delivery of buildings across multiple scales and sectors. He recently joined our team following a short sabbatical in Italy where he participated in and helped run the design and build workshop, Camposaz.
Prior to his time away, Oliver worked at architectural practices Greig & Stephenson and Burrell Foley Fischer. At Grieg & Stephenson he led the technical delivery of their Darley Street Market scheme in Bradford. While at Burrell Foley Fischer he was part of the Stage 4 (detailed design / tender) team on their Dixon Clarke Court project in Islington, London.
Oliver's previous experience has seen him work on architectural projects and commissions outside the UK, namely, Italy and Nepal. In Nepal he worked with humanitarian architectural practice, Article 25, to deliver the Anandaban Hospital's Trauma centre. This project was a direct response to the after effects of the earthquake that hit the region in 2015.
Oliver studied at the Manchester School school of Architecture and the Architectural Association in London. Completing his Part III studies at the latter. As well as being an architect, Oliver also holds a diploma in Environmental Science. A degree reflective of his drive to deliver low carbon, self-sustaining buildings and spaces.
Outside architecture, Oliver is a keen carpenter and joiner. He hosts a monthly radio show and has his own hand-made leather goods brand.
