Tooley Street Wayfinding

Public Realm

2018

In response to the London Festival of Architecture’s call for an effective way-finding intervention that would help lead people towards the less trodden, clean-air path to London Bridge, West Port proposed abstracted ‘breathing-lungs’. The principal lung was to be situated within the Tooley St. triangle. This lung was to act as a way-finding marker with inscriptions relating to the dangers of pollutants and why one should consider the alternative clean air path.
