In mid-2024, West Port was commissioned to redesign a mid-terrace Victorian home in Parsons Green, West London. Untouched for nearly 50 years, the clients were presented with the option of a full renovation and expansion of the house, which included creating a new loft conversion and rear extension. Within the Parsons Green Conservation Area, the house was fully rewired, thermally and acoustically improved, and sympathetically renovated and expanded, respecting the nearby school, medical centre and neighbours. Thematically, the home was intended to be a splash of colour, reflecting the homeowners' personalities through adventurous use of pinks, blues, greens and reds. The rear extension, designed to maximise volume and light in the new kitchen/dining space, is clad in green ceramic tiling. This choice blends with the vibrancy of the nearby school playground and the traditional London stock brick of the existing house and its context. 

The house renovation is set to finish in early 2026.
