West Port have been working closely with Gadmon Industries on the comprehensive redevelopment of their factory at 57 Glengall Road, Peckham. The proposed scheme will provide nine residential units, new B1 studio spaces and retain their working factory on the ground floor. The Victorian warehouse, though not listed, is of significant local interest and is to be retained and restored. A 2-storey extension will provide space for the new flats. A courtyarded main entrance to the development is also proposed.

This project is unique in that it sits within the Old Kent Road Opportunity area but unlike other redevelopments around the occupier has chosen to maintain it at a modest scale, retain ownership of the land and continue operating their industrial business on site.

Through extensive dialogue with Southwark Council, planning permission was granted in the summer of 2020. The owner is keen to start construction works in 2022.
