The Pavilion for All competition, which concluded in early 2022, was a major architectural call-to-arms to design a net-zero, inclusive sports and community hub at the heart of the Brent Cross Town regeneration project in North London. West Port's entry, A Wall for All, reclaims the city's most fundamental element—the wall—and transforms it from a defensive barrier into an open invitation for play and creativity. While the historic Clitterhouse Farm was built to enclose and protect, West Port extends those walls into the community to flip their tone from divisive to inclusive. By creating a democratic, 24/7 civic living room centred around a vibrant café, the pavilion becomes a focal hub for the Brent Cross Town community where all you need is a ball and a little imagination to belong.
