With a retention-first approach, West Port are working with planners Big Urban and Third Revolution Projects on the refurbishment and development of existing retail units into a mixed-use scheme comprising 5 retail spaces and 9 apartments. The sites are on the Uxbridge Road, Hayes, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. The two plots are separated by the residential entrance arcade to the Pointwest tower behind.

The distinct architecture of the existing stores, designed by renowned modernist architect Owen Luder, is unique to the street and will be retained and revamped with the units brought up to modern standards. The new homes above will me a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments each serviced with generous private outdoor amenity space.

The updated scheme was submitted for planning consent in March 2022.
