Last week, Basia volunteered with D-LAB Studios to help AAA students build their design confidence. The workshop also entailed giving them advice on putting together portfolios that will hopefully enable them to get a better start in design / construction related education.

Through D-Labs innovative approach to learning via architectural modelmaking, creative technologies and robotics, Basia and the participants went to Mars and back as she helped tutor them on how to plan, design and draw at different scales. Exercises included both team and individual work. The students were exposed to different software and tools, learnt principles in structural design, materials and sustainability.

We are really pleased to have worked with D-Lab and hope to get involved in future chapters of this amazing initiative.
